John Beatty is a leading nature, travel and adventure photographer and adventure travel specialist. A friend and business associate to HL Adventure for 30 yrs, he has travelled to 38 countries including a year in Antarctica and many adventurous journeys in the Canadian Arctic, Alaska and Northern Scandinavia, whilst operating his own nature and adventure travel company for 12 yrs from Britain. In 1982 he made an early man-hauled sled crossing of the central ice cap of Greenland, a distance of 700kms, without the use of satellite navigation or radio communications. He is a passionate public speaker on wilderness adventures, and his photographs are published worldwide.
